Fri, 07/09/2010 - 14:24 | Quirky fashionista Betsey Johnson plans to dust off and revive her original fragrance, which launched in 1982 with less-than-stellar reviews, as well as roll out a new women's fragrance sometime next year.
“I think that after some kind of clothing existence, a designer needs a fragrance,” Johnson told WWD, after announcing her newly inked deal with Inter Parfums Inc. to roll out fragrances, personal care products and color cosmetics. “It’s just like you have dessert after dinner.”
We don't know exactly what the new fragrance will be, but we know what it will not be. "It ain't gonna be au naturel, sweet, foodlike - like chocolate - [or] patchouli."
